Have you always enjoyed creative activities? Do you like working with your hands and enjoy learning when it's personally interesting to you? Do you want to build the knowledge and skills with which to express your ideas? The Art Program at 四虎影视 offers courses in Drawing, Painting, Design (including Graphic Design), Printmaking, Photography, and Ceramics. You may be interested in a few courses for your personal growth or you may be planning to pursue a career in the art and design fields.
Courses of Study
We offer the following degrees, both of which will transfer to any senior institution of your choice where you can earn your Bachelor's degree.
- Art (Studio) - A.A. (requires a foreign language)
- Art (Studio) - A.F.A.
Student Exhibitions
The Student Art Exhibition is held each year. This is a competition open to all VSCC art students. Each studio student is required to submit work produced during the preceding year. An outside juror selects works for exhibition and awards cash prizes. The Student Show and the Reception and Awards Ceremony are an annual highlight of the academic year.
The 四虎影视 Art Gallery
The 四虎影视 Art Gallery features the works of visiting artists from across the country, as well as Tennessee artists, our students, and faculty. All gallery events are free and open to the public. The Gallery is located on the first floor of the Steinhauer-Rogan-Black (SRB) Humanities Building on the Gallatin campus at 1480 Nashville Pike.
